Basic Information

Chicago Joe’s Rock ‘n Blues Camp accepts players and singers in middle and high school, with playing and singing skills on a late beginner/intermediate (quick learner) through advanced levels.   You will find suggested guidelines for playing levels in the Registration Information.  PLEASE READ THESE GUIDELINES to insure that your child is ready for our camp.  Please note that this is not a camp for new beginners.  We want everyone to have a great experience!

Rates and Dates

Session dates for 2010 are:

Session 1 June 14 - 18
Session 2 June 21 - 25
Session 3 June 28 - July 2
Session 4 July 12 - 16
Session 5 (overflow session) July 19 - 23

The registration fee for all 2010 camp sessions is $475.00. Includes five full days of camp, 9:30am to4:00pm, t-shirt and bumper sticker.  High quality digital mixed and mastered audio recordings by our recording engineer Jeep Hook of HookHouse Studios, and digital mixed audio DVDs by Balthazar Productions will be available for a small charge.  Professional photos will be made available after each session by our fabulous photographer, Daemon Baizan.

Each session will include up to six bands.  Therefore we will accept six drummers, bass players, keyboard players and singers, plus 12 to 16 guitar players per session.  (Some bands may have as many as three guitars.)  Depending upon the make-up of each band, the number of brass players - sax, trombone, trumpet - will vary.
